@me Not sure about iOS, but Ctrl+D works for me quite well, and I never understood why Pocket is needed in the first place when you have standard browser bookmarks 🤷
Yeah, Pocket saved links offline, but I don't need that frequently enough to bother.

I recall I saw some cool project recently that could save local copies of websites, but could remember neither its name nor where I saw it 😅

@bemyak@bemyak.net there are a few things that made Pocket very convenient for me, but ergonomics was the big one. On a phone it takes three taps to save a link from any app, on a desktop it's just one click. Doesn't matter which app or browser I was using at the time. Once I read a thing, it's one click to archive, but I can find it in the archive if need be.
Bookmarks are a bit different for me, I use them to organize things I want to access regularly. Pocket was a LIFO stack of things to read when I feel bored. If push comes to shove, I could use bookmarks like that, but it would be a lot more fiddly and annoying.
Textpod looks really cool and I'll check it out, although it is more about keeping notes than a reading list.
Well, it was great while it lasted. Any recommendations for alternatives? The main requirement is iOS sharing integration for saving links.
